Nothing much gets by Wynne, including as it would be, a surprise party, hosted by her good friends Coleman, Kate and Emily. Perhaps it was the insistence that she come at exactly 6 pm last night to watch a movie at Kate’s house… or perhaps there were other giveaways… in any case, a lovely gesture and even nicer party complete with a chronological video, for all of our barn to wish her a successful winter in Florida. Wynne is heading down there as a working student for Havens Schatts and Milestone Farm. She is taking Oro down with her, campaigning him until he is leased. Applying her work ethic, talent, patience, and brains, I anticipate she will have a great time and might even open more doors. A role model for all of our girls, like the role models before her (Caroline Foto comes to mind… ) she inspires us all to do better, work harder, apply ourselves without excuses…
Recently- in the last edition of the Carolinas Equestrian (complimentary copies still available in the barn) they did a great feature article covering Wynne’s last year so far. Just imagine what might come next!
